Suffolk's councils are working together on one of the most ambitious change programmes the county has ever seen. Through Local Government Reorganisation (LGR), we're creating three new unitary councils and building the foundations for the future of local services across Suffolk.

We're looking for talented people to join our programme team and play a key role in making that happen.

LGR Governance and Research Lead

As our Governance and Research Lead, you’ll be at the centre of how the LGR Programme is governed and how key decisions are informed. You’ll ensure the governance framework works effectively across Suffolk’s councils, while providing the research, evidence and practical recommendations needed to support programme boards and senior leaders.

LGR Project Manager

As one of the Project Manager’s, you'll play a key role in maintaining visibility across the programme, ensuring workstreams remain connected, informed and focused on delivery. Working across organisational boundaries, you'll help translate programme priorities into coordinated action across Suffolk's councils.

LGR Business Analyst

As our Business Analyst, you'll be the bridge between information and decision-making. You'll help bring data, evidence and insight to life, translating complex information into clear recommendations that support programme leaders, workstreams and stakeholders across Suffolk

LGR Communications and Engagement Lead

As our Communications and Engagement Lead, you’ll be the strategic lead for storytelling across the Suffolk LGR Programme. You'll drive and embed a clear, consistent and effective communications and engagement approach, ensuring the Future Suffolk programme speaks with one voice across Suffolk's councils and partners.

LGR Service Designer

As our Service Designer, you'll help shape what local government in Suffolk looks like in the future. You'll lead service design thinking and activity across the LGR Programme, helping design future services, operating models and ways of working around the needs of communities, service users and partners. Working across multiple organisations and stakeholder groups, you'll bring together different perspectives to help shape the future of local government across Suffolk.

LGR Head of Programme Management Office

As our Head of Programme Management Office (PMO), you'll lead the day-to-day delivery of the programme, turning strategic direction into practical action. You'll oversee programme governance, controls and reporting, while providing the leadership and coordination needed to keep this ambitious programme moving forward at pace.

LGR Executive Assistant and Project Support

As the Executive Assistant and Project Support, you'll be at the centre of the LGR Programme, helping coordinate priorities, connect people and support the effective delivery of objectives. Working closely with the Programme Director, you'll play an important role in helping the programme operate efficiently across multiple organisations.
